  • Contributes to lower energy costs when applied in Demand Controlled Ventilation
  • Internal automatic self-diagnostics
  • Maintenance-free
  • Available with different measurement ranges and several housing options
  • Serial communication port for connection to a PC or a GSM module and local network
  • Hidden display

aSENSE VAV Duct Display

aSENSE VAV Duct is a standalone controller with built-in sensors that measure CO₂ and temperature for installation in the ventilation duct. aSENSE VAV Duct has an industrial housing and is also prepared for Modbus.

  • Cost-optimized for direct linear control of dampers and speed regulated fans
  • Contributes to lower energy costs when applied in Demand Controlled Ventilation
  • Internal automatic self-diagnostics
  • Available with different measurement ranges and several housing options
  • Serial communication port for connection to a PC or a GSM module and local network

A common application for aSENSE VAV Duct is controlling ventilation in rooms occupied by people. The sensor is flexible and designed to suit many different ventilation strategies. It is a key component for energy-effective, healthy climate control of rooms where occupancy varies, like schools and nurseries, cinemas and theatres, sports centres etc. In museums and libraries, the control of the ventilation is often based on temperature and carbon dioxide measurements. That can be combined with control of humidity to secure an optimal environment for the objects. To avoid condensation problems, it is often necessary to measure humidity in air conditioning and other cooling applications.

aSENSE Duct is a maintenance-free, infrared carbon dioxide sensor for installation in the ventilation duct. The unit has an industrial housing (protection class IP65) with a duct probe. The product is designed to control ventilation by transmitting the measured carbon dioxide and temperature value to the system´s Master or DDC. The transmitter is flexible and suits many different ventilation strategies. According to most building regulations, the fresh airflow should be at least 7 litres/second and person in rooms where people stay more than occasionally.

If the room occupants are adults with a light work-load and the outdoor CO₂ concentration is 350 ppm, this airflow answers directly to an indoor CO₂ concentration of 1,040 ppm.

According to the National Boards of Occupational Safety and Health, the CO₂ concentration can be used as an indicator of the Indoor Air Quality (IAQ). A CO₂ concentration below 1,000 ppm should always be the aim.

aSENSE Ind

aSENSE™ is an advanced transmitter for installation in the climate zone. It measures both CO₂ concentration and temperature. The data is transmitted to a BMS system or controller and can be configured with UIP Software. The unit is prepared for Modbus. Variations of this product can be found in the index.

aSENSE Ind Display 3%

aSENSE Ind 3% is an advanced transmitter for installation in the climate zone. It measures both CO₂ concentration and temperature. The data is transmitted to a BMS system or controller and can be configured with UIP Software. The unit is prepared for Modbus. The unit can also be used as a safety product to save lives.

  • Maintenance-free in normal applications
  • Contributes to lower energy costs
  • Cost-efficient RS485 communication as an option

aSENSE Ind 3% Disp RL is a key component for climate control of buildings. The transmitter is flexible and suits many different ventilation strategies. It is also a cost efficient gas alarm sensor for spaces where carbon dioxide gas is a potential danger.

The aSENSE Ind 3% Disp RL is designed to control ventilation by transmitting the measured carbon dioxide and temperature value to the Master of the system or DDC to save energy and ensure a good indoor environment.

aSENSE MIII

aSENSE MIII is a controller with built-in sensors to monitor at the same time carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide.

  • Maintenance-free
  • Two sensors in one housing
  • Flexible control outputs for connection to DDC, or direct control of dampers and speed regulated fans
  • Contributes to lower energy costs when applied in Demand Controlled Ventilation
  • Internal data recorder for environmental trend logging
  • Serial com port for connection to PC, GSM-module or local network

With these parameters, the programmable unit can control, e.g. ventilation rates, and generate alarm signals for personal safety devices. aSENSE MIII is designed for stand-alone operation, as well as being connected to larger building automation systems.

The aSENSE MIII is applicable in most large spaces where combustion is the source of the potential toxic danger, such as in public garages, truck terminals, tunnels and mines. It offers the possibility to combine CO and CO2 measurements which not just guarantees public safety, but also saves energy when applied to Demand Controlled Ventilation.

The aSENSE MIII offers the possibility to regulate ventilation systems stand-alone, as well as being just a sensor in a larger system. To cover larger spaces, e.g. several sensors could be joined in a simple relay loop and together control an intermittent two-speed exhaust fan.
